P.J. Lynch was chosen by Transurban as the preferred electrical contractor and installer for the Tullamarine Freeway Sound Tube Architectural Lighting Project. This project included the installation of architectural LED strips to the structural frame of the sound tube. Provided all the control cabinets, electrical and communications wiring and interfacing equipment, power supplies etc. for operation and control of the entire system.
Fibre optic cables installed and terminated for connectivity into CityLink's data network for control over the system.

P.J. Lynch was chosen by Transurban as the preferred electrical contractor and installer for the Tullamarine Freeway Sound Tube Architectural Lighting Project. This landmark project allows CityLink to create a dynamic visual environment for drivers and passengers entering the Sound Tube. The Sustainable LED lighting allows CityLink to rapidly change the lighting colours to provide interest and to support special events. This section of the freeway has quickly become the pride of Melbourne's freeways and has gained international exposure and praise.
Transurban required a Citylink prequalified contractor who could provide a complete design, supply and installation solution on a short deadline. Due to its extensive experience in large-scale projects and highly skilled workforce, P.J. Lynch was chosen as the lead contractor in the project.
From its headquarters in Research, Victoria, P.J. Lynch was able to manufacture the control cabinets and marshalling boxes and supply all electrical and communications wiring, interfacing equipment and power supplies for the operation and control of the entire system. It was also able to provide the skilled workforce to meet Transurban's deadline.
